- General Summary of Position Responsiblity:The research assistant (RA) will work under close supervision to conduct various clinical research projects relevant to the Cardiovascular-Thoracic Surgery team.Essential Job Functions:
- Follow research protocols as directed when applicable.
- Conduct literature searches.
- Collect, record and organize data.
- Maintain accurate records of data collection.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectivly in face-to-face interactions with research staff, physicians, and administrative staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
