Requirements:Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, public health, or a related field.
Experience in patient-oriented research and with special needs populations is preferred.

Job Description:The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute is an interdisciplinary institution dedicated to conducting basic, clinical and translational research on conditions and diseases that affect children, and is part of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and University of Pennsylvania research community. 

We are seeking a part-time Clinical Research Assistant to join our NIH-funded study exploring body composition, obesity and cardiovascular risk in adolescents with Down syndrome. The research assistant will assist the study coordinator and the investigative team to implement the study aims. The research assistant will be responsible for day-to-day participant recruitment, scheduling study visits, obtaining informed consent and escorting families through various aspects of a study visit, maintaining regular contact with families participating in the intervention, data entry, maintaining study files, and other related supportive project activities.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, public health, or a related field. 
Experience in patient-oriented research and with special needs populations is preferred.
