Position summary

Clinical Research Assistant (Job Opening 414997) - Clinical Research Assistant to provide support for research studies being conducted by the Ohio Valley Center for Brain Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation; assists with grant preparation; prepares IRB reports and documents; assists with data analysis; administers neuropsychological and behavioral assessments; assists with recruiting and enrolling participants into studies; monitors and interviews participants; collects, compiles and enters data; abstracts data and demographic information from medical records; performs data-quality checks; conducts literature reviews.

Education and experience

Bachelor's Degree in biological sciences, health sciences, or an allied medical profession required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a clinical research capacity desired; experience in conducting research interviews desired; excellent communication skills preferred; computer skills required with knowledge of database software applications desired. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
