| Advertised Summary Job Description | The Research Assistant will take part in the coordination and conduct of clinical trials involving human subject research. Assists in execution and adherence to the clinical research protocols; assists in daily routines to ensure proper execution of clinical research protocols, assists in screening potential research patients for clinical research protocols; obtains informed consent on eligible patients. Gathers data; maintains patient confidentiality. Completes case report forms appropriately. Ensures that regulatory binders are complete and up-to date. Attends training programs, participates in research team meetings and site initiations. Adheres to GCP and FDA/HHS regulations; complies with Columbia University Hospital Policies and Procedures related to clinical research. Performs other responisibilities as needed. |
Minimum Qualifications for Grade
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant | Requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or related science and at least 1.5 years of related experience or equivalent in training and/or experience.
