Minimum Qualifications for Grade
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 1.5 years of related experience or equivalent in education, training and experience.
Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding English-speaking skills are required due to limited auditory capabilities of these elderly study participants. Must also possess strong organizational skills. Experience administering informed consent, and conducting phone surveys and health-related assessments desired. Driver's license required and research experience and/or health background strongly preferred. Must be willing to travel (both local and long distance) and work flexible hours. Phlebotomy experience and certification is desired but willingness to undergo phlebotomy training and certification (provided by the university) is required. The Research Assistant will report directly to the Project Coordinator.
