Job Overview

Assists research staff in administering healthcare and in supporting clinic flow of patients and families in a research setting by performing delegated activities as outlined in the Research Protocol.
This role will be supporting both the Child Health Clinic and Pulmonary Department at Children's Hospital Colorado on several projects related to population health, breastfeeding and secondhand smoke.

Qualifications

Completes and maintains currency in applicable COMIRB Research Certifications and HIPAA trainingcourses
Demonstrates good organizational skills with business appropriate written and verbal communication skills including telephone etiquette. Must be able to take direction well and seek assistance when required. General Work Experience: Minimum of nine months in a direct care health care role preferred; previous pediatric experience preferred. Basic computer skills required. Excellent customer service and communicationskills with hospital/clinic staff, children, parents and visitors. Functional knowledge of medical terminology required. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize tasks in a fast paced setting. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Required Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent Required License/Certification - BLS for Healthcare Providers / CPR Some knowledge of Microsoft Office products including the ability to perform basic formatting of Word documents and create basic spreadsheets in Excel. | |
