- Perform a variety of research assistant/associate researcher functions in support of
- psychology/ psychiatric research efforts, to include survey and interventions research.
- Perform local software acquisition support. Gather cost information and tech requirements
- for unit software needs. Verify net-worthiness with DHA and Madigan Army
- Medical Center (MAMC) Points of Contact (POCs).
- Process Privacy Information Assessments for all software not previously covered.
- Gain local MAMC approval for required software by providing information and
- attending Control Configuration Board meetings.
- Coordinate acquisition of software and delivery to MAMC software installation
- manager for installation on USAMRD-West computers.
- Coordinate trouble-shooting of Information Management (IM) issues, as required,
- by serving as liaison between USAMRD-West staff and IMD professionals at
- MAMC and WRAIR. Manage the flow of IM trouble tickets and ensure they are
- completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate mission specific technology requirements (e.g., burning of CDs/DVDs),
- ensuring that all documentation and approvals are secured.
- Manage offline laptop requirements and software installation.
- Participate in all working groups required for management of IM requirements,
- both for MAMC and WRAIR.
- Coordinate with Hand Receipt Holder and Administrative Officer to ensure
- rapid acquisition of new computers and new software, as mission requirements dictate.
- Support data collection, data processing, data analysis, and interpretation of
- mental health and social research study data.
- Prepare reports and briefs of findings for national/ international meetings
- and senior military leaders.
- Must be able to travel to conduct field data collections or to attend
- scientific meetings.
- Maintain a safe workplace ensuring that he/she is aware of and observes
- appropriate safety and occupational health rules and regulations. Employee
- is required to attend safety training relative to his/her position and report any infractions
- of safety procedures to the facility Safety Officer.
- Coordinate all aspects of field study logistics, especially computer-related requirements,
- and on the ground activities at data collection sites.
- Develop and test survey templates in the Remark system.

Bachelors or better in Psychology or related field.
