Staff Research Associate I - Cardiology
Job Duties
Under the direction of the Department of Medicine, coordinate research activities as part of a clinical research team located at UCLA. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of clinical trials to include: patient recruitment, enrollment and education: ensuring that protocol procedures have been completed accurately, safely, and in a timely manner, research chart documentation: data collect/case report form completion: and dissemination of protocol information to health care professionals and the public.
Job Qualifications
Clinical research experience. Working knowledge of good clinical practices for clinical research. Ability to work efficiently, and organize multiple projects. Ability to work flexible hours and to multi task. Ability to travel to investigator meetings. Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of hospital computer system and personal computer system and the various software products to perform administrative work. Certification in Phlebotomy preferred. Strong interpersonal communications skills to effectively and diplomatically interact with other.
