DescriptionResearch assistant will participate in ongoing glaucoma clinical research projects. Job responsibilities will include identifying eligible patients, recruiting them for enrollment in the research project and following research protocols to collect clinical research data. The research assistant will input data into excel spreadsheets and help to analyze nailfold capillary videos. Finally the research assistant will act as a liaison between our IRB and our collaborators at outside institutions who are conducting similar research projects.
RequirementsBachelor's degree, preferably in the biological or physical sciences, or relevant experience in a clinical research setting. Knowledge of relational database (e.g., Paradox or Access), graphics, spreadsheets and other software packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) helpful. Experience working in a clinical research setting is most desirable.

Individual must possess strong quantitative, organizational, and communication (verbal and written) skills. Must have the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple job tasks, to complete responsibilities within strict timelines, and to work independently as well as part of a team.
